Hi, my name is Salsabel Najm. I’m an IT Support Specialist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems & Technology. I graduated with honors from Spokane Falls Community College in 2020. I’m passionate about sharing tech knowledge with people who are interested in technology and want to start their career in this field. I’d like to list the classes I studied during my AAS and BAS degrees to give you some insight into the IT courses you need to start your own journey. First, I want to thank Spokane Falls Community College for their professionalism and for encouraging students to accomplish their goals. Thank you to the admissions team, advisors, and instructors for all their support.
Fall 2016
This is my first quarter in my AAS degree journey and I am so excited to start. In this quarter, I took the following classes: Beginning Keyboarding class, which aims to help students type 40 words per minute(Pass). English 99(3.4/4) and English 101(3.4/4), which involve writing more essays and making presentations. IS 101(4/4) is a planning class that provides insight into class planning, credits, and how to organize our quarterly sequence. Lastly, IS 162 Data Communications and Network (3.1/4) is similar to CompTIA Network+ but goes into more depth.
